We were pleased to host our inaugural Imaginarium at the Amoris Christi Campus, a 5-acre retreat center in Delray Beach, FL. The event brought together 31 participants representing a cross-section of all our cooperating organizations and more. The event spanned 3 days and provided a dedicated space to discuss the shifting landscape of theological education by sharing institutional struggles and insights.

The program featured keynote sessions from Rev. Dr. Jo Ann Deasy, Director of Institutional Initiatives at the Association of Theological Schools (ATS), who presented data on changing student and university demographics and the future of theological education. Dr. Sunil Nadarajan (Amoris Christi) led a session on healing the imagination and Dr. Sue Gallagher (FCTS Board Member and Chief Innovation Officer at the Children’s Services Council of Broward County) contextualized theological education within South Florida. In response to widespread interest, the final day shifted focus toward artificial intelligence, featuring theological perspectives from Rev. Tim Cusick, Vice-Rector and Academic Dean of St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary, on relevant church documents alongside practical institutional applications delivered by Chadd Feyas, an instructional designer from Florida Atlantic University.
